Briefing

To create a logo and a corporate identity that conveyed the values without making them a simple cliché, but rather bringing out Italian excellence, making it familiar, recognizable and accessible.

Approach to design

In the creation of a fresh and dynamic, but still clean and elegant logotype, the two-point perspective was chosen both as a construction technique and as a key to communicating values.

It is in fact a technique used to design, but also to “tell” the construction industry in a captivating, dynamic way that is closer to the reality perceived by the human eye.

The purpose of using this technique was in fact to make the three letters that make up the monogram take on the appearance of a construction or a building with a modern appearance.

Solution

The final logo proposal features the monogram constructed with a two-point perspective, the subtitle and the payoff “Living Passion” designed to play on the double meaning of “living passion”, which underlines the passing of the baton from the first to the second generation, and “passion for living” understood as a passion for the living room of the house, for furnishing and renovation, the core business of the company.

Briefing

This logo design and brand identity project aims to give a graphic look to the entire communication system of the law firm, starting initially from the definition of a pictogram, and then a logotype, which embodies the values ​​of reliability, authority and a modern and dynamic approach to the legal discipline, and then moving on to a harmonious and coordinated declination of the same on all physical and digital media necessary for the promotion and communication of the legal activity of the firm.

Initials

The diphthong “DO”, which is repeated twice in the client’s surname, has the peculiarity of contrasting, as in legal disputes, two equal shapes.

Emphasizing this aspect means emphasizing balance and equality before the law, as well as the inevitable clash between party and counterpart and therefore the dynamism of the symbol and the approach.

Positive/Negative

The two opposing shapes, resulting from the thinning of the letters “D” and “O”, are re-proposed one in positive and the other in negative, thus reconnecting to the concept of legal “clash” between those who maintain that “right” is “black on white” and those who maintain that it is “white on black”.

Square shape

The square, with right angles and equal sides, reinforces the abstract thought of justice and fairness, as well as impartiality, order, stability
and authority.

A thickened circumference that encloses all the symbolism of the pictogram, just as the plate encloses and frames the customer’s product.

Corkscrew

The iconic shape of the corkscrew reiterates the message that, in addition to the “good food” typical of Italian tradition, the restaurant also and above all serves “good wine”.

Wine Glass

The arc of the circumference obtained from the Boolean difference between the circumference and the shape of the corkscrew tells the story of the shape of the wine glass, another element that frames and encloses the client’s flagship product.

Fork

Rebalance the pictogram by reiterating one of the two flagship products of the client’s business reality.
